Meet Kristina

Kristina.jpeg
Piano Instructor

Kristina began her piano journey at the age of 6. By 7, she had already participated in her first piano competition, the Safonov contest, as the youngest contestant. Throughout her studies at the music school, she was a part of the charitable foundation for gifted children, “New Names,” and ranked among the Top 10 young pianists of the region. Kristina’s passion for music led her to attend masterclasses of renowned professors in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In addition, she also participated in multiple international and all-Russian contests in Italy, Kiev, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and many other cities.

Kristina decided to pursue her professional career as a pianist and enrolled in a music college, and later moved to St. Petersburg to continue  higher education with the American-Italian pianist, composer, and harpsichord expert, Anthony Bonamici, as well as the concert pianist Alexander Pirozhenko. During this time, she performed solo and chamber music concerts with a violinist in concert halls and private galleries in St. Petersburg, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Munich.

With 8 years of teaching experience in both music schools and private practice, Kristina has developed her own approach to teaching. She believes in the power of music to shape the mind and soul, and describes her teaching philosophy as “music with joy!” Her lessons are filled with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a focus on musical expression. Kristina creates a welcoming and friendly environment, helping her students discover their own musical identities while refining the nuances of their playing. She takes great pride in watching her students grow and succeed, both in concerts and competitions.

Kristina Efimova invites all students to join her class and experience the joy of music together!
